Weeding

"The unattended garden will soon be overrun with weeds; the heart that fails to cultivate truth and root out error will shortly become a theological wilderness."
-A.W. Tozer

This past weekend I learned that the Greek word "knowing" has two separate meanings; εἶδον (eidon) means "knowledge, to see, to ascertain" and γινώσκω (ginosko) means "knowing with deep intimacy, a relationship." I want to ginosko people. And myself. I want to weed out lies and cultivate truth. But I guess that's common sense. No one would choose to live in a thicket of weeds, right?
